Improved understanding of French grammar rules: Duolingo is known for emphasizing grammar, so things like ( i am a american man) would go along the lines of (i am a man american)
Increased confidence in speaking French: Duolingo encourages learners to practice speaking and listening in French, so after the 40 days, I had felt that introducing myself got a little bit easier as time progressed, my chemistry teacher spoke french so I would go up to him and introduce myself for practice
Motivation to continue learning French: After using Duolingo consistently using duolingo for 40 days, I had felt obligated to keep my streak alive.

Continued difficulty with speaking and listening comprehension: While my reading and writing skills may improve, I still struggle with speaking and understanding spoken French due to the language's complex pronunciation and rapid pace of spoken conversation.
Increased motivation to continue learning: After investing well over 50 hours into learning French, and how duolinogo has a format in which makes me feel like learning its become a habit
Recognition of patterns in the language: there are patterns in the language, that I have noticed such as common verb endings or noun genders, which can help with memorization and understanding.
The importance of a variety of learning materials: Language learning is not one-size-fits-all, I found an others must have that they benefit from a variety of materials and resources, such as books, audio lessons, language helpers and duolingo.
The phonetics sound much better especially with the numbers
